Da in vielen \u201egr\u00fcnen\u201c Technologien momentan noch sch\u00e4dliche PFAS-Chemikalien eingesetzt werden, hat CHEM Trust untersucht, ob ein \u00f6kologischer Wandel auch ohne PFAS m\u00f6glich ist. Und wir haben gute Neuigkeiten: Es gibt bereits innovative Unternehmen, die PFAS-freie Alternativen herstellen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Praktisch unzerst\u00f6rbar<\/h2>\n<p>PFAS (<a href=\"https:\/\/chemtrust.org\/de\/per-und-polyfluorierte-alkylverbindungen-pfas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per- und polyfluorierte Alkylsubstanzen<\/a>) sind eine Gruppe von \u00fcber 10.000 Chemikalien, die aufgrund ihrer fett- und wasserabweisenden Eigenschaften in verschiedenen industriellen Prozessen, aber auch vielen Alltagsprodukten eingesetzt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Verbindungen sind sehr stabil <strong>(persistent) und somit praktisch unzerst\u00f6rbar<\/strong>: Gelangen sie in die Umwelt, verbleiben sie dort f\u00fcr viele Jahre \u2013 aus diesem Grund werden sie auch \u201e<strong>Ewigkeitschemikalien<\/strong>\u201c genannt. PFAS wurden bereits <a href=\"https:\/\/chemtrust.org\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/02\/CHEM-Trust-PFAS_Briefing_German_final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">im Blut und in der Muttermilch von Menschen und Tieren auf der ganzen Welt<\/a> gefunden und sogar in den abgelegensten Regionen nachgewiesen, <a href=\"https:\/\/chemtrust.org\/de\/pinguine-rossmeer-pfas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">zum Beispiel in der Antarktis<\/a>. Die meisterforschten Chemikalien dieser Familie wurden schon mit <strong>bestimmten Krebserkrankungen, Entwicklungsst\u00f6rungen, Sch\u00e4digungen des Immunsystems und anderen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unep.org\/topics\/chemicals-and-pollution-action\/pollution-and-health\/persistent-organic-pollutants-pops\/and#:~:text=They%20are%20a%20large%20family,Stockholm%20Convention%20as%20industrial%20POPs.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">schweren Gesundheitsproblemen<\/a><\/strong> in Verbindung gebracht.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"divider-wrap\" data-alignment=\"default\"><div style=\"height: 0px;\" class=\"divider\"><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t<p>Es gibt <strong>immer mehr wissenschaftliche Beweise daf\u00fcr, wie die Ewigkeitschemikalien Menschen, Tieren und der Umwelt schaden<\/strong>. Deswegen erarbeiteten Fachbeh\u00f6rden aus D\u00e4nemark, Deutschland, den Niederlanden, Norwegen und Schweden einen <a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/de\/restrictions-under-consideration\/-\/substance-rev\/72301\/term\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Vorschlag f\u00fcr eine allgemeine Beschr\u00e4nkung von PFAS<\/strong><\/a>. Und <a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/de\/-\/next-steps-for-pfas-restriction-proposal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hier finden Sie weitere Informationen \u00fcber die n\u00e4chsten Schritte<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"divider-wrap\" data-alignment=\"default\"><div style=\"height: 0px;\" class=\"divider\"><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t<h2>PFAS in \u201egr\u00fcnen\u201c Technologien<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/strategy-and-policy\/priorities-2019-2024\/european-green-deal_de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Die EU hat sich verpflichtet<\/a>, ihre Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von fossilen Brennstoffen zu verringern und auf eine nachhaltige Wirtschaft hinzuarbeiten, unter anderem durch Investitionen in erneuerbare Technologien und Elektrofahrzeuge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In einigen dieser Technologien kommen bisher allerdings oft PFAS zum Einsatz, etwa F-Gase und Fluorpolymere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"divider-wrap\" data-alignment=\"default\"><div style=\"height: 0px;\" class=\"divider\"><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t<p><strong>Fluorierte Gase oder F-Gase<\/strong> werden in verschiedenen industriellen Anwendungen eingesetzt, zum Beispiel zur K\u00fchlung, Klimatisierung und Isolierung oder zum Brandschutz. Sie sind Treibhausgase und wirken sich stark auf das Klima aus. F-Gase sind f\u00fcr <strong>60 Prozent aller PFAS-Emissionen in der EU verantwortlich<\/strong>, wobei nicht alle F-Gase auch PFAS sind. <a href=\"https:\/\/climate.ec.europa.eu\/eu-action\/fluorinated-greenhouse-gases\/about-f-gases_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mehr Informationen finden Sie auf der Website der EU-Kommission<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fluorpolymere<\/strong> sind eine andere Kategorie von PFAS und werden auch als \u201ePlastik-PFAS\u201c bezeichnet. Sie sind etwa schwer entflammbar, nicht-haftend sowie hitze- und chemikalienbest\u00e4ndig und werden deswegen in verschiedenen Industriezweigen verwendet, wie in der Luft-und Raumfahrt, Automobilindustrie, Medizintechnik und mehr. Das bekannteste Fluorpolymer ist Polytetrafluorethylen (PTFE), insbesondere unter dem Markennamen <strong>Teflon<\/strong>, das beispielsweise in Antihaftbeschichtungen f\u00fcr Pfannen eingesetzt wird.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"divider-wrap\" data-alignment=\"default\"><div style=\"height: 0px;\" class=\"divider\"><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vci.de\/vci\/downloads-vci\/publikation\/politikbrief\/vci-pb-2023-3-pfas.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Teile der Industrie argumentieren<\/a>, dass viele der Technologien zur Bek\u00e4mpfung der Klimakrise nicht ohne PFAS entwickelt werden k\u00f6nnen und sagen gravierende Folgen voraus. <strong>Wir haben recherchiert, ob das wirklich so ist \u2013 und herausgefunden, <a href=\"https:\/\/chemtrust.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/PFAS-the-Green-Transition_Sept25.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dass mehrere innovative Unternehmen f\u00fcr die verschiedensten Anwendungen PFAS-freie Alternativen suchen oder sogar schon herstellen<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Die folgende \u00dcbersicht zeigt die verschiedenen Funktionen von PFAS in \u201egr\u00fcnen\u201c Technologien. Backsheets sollen die Anlage vor Umwelteinfl\u00fcssen wie beispielsweise Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz sch\u00fctzen. Momentan werden noch Fluorpolymere und kurzkettige PFAS verwendet, um Halbleiterlemente f\u00fcr verschiedene technische Awendungen herzustellen. <strong>In einigen F\u00e4llen wurden schon PFAS-freie Alternativen gefunden<\/strong>, in anderen wird noch geforscht.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"divider-wrap\" data-alignment=\"default\"><div style=\"height: 0px;\" class=\"divider\"><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t<p>Immer mehr Unternehmen wollen PFAS k\u00fcnftig nicht mehr produzieren und\/oder verwenden. Beispielsweise haben sich bereits \u00fcber 100 Unternehmen, darunter auch Hersteller von gr\u00fcnen Technologien, dem \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/chemsec.org\/pfas\/#members-of-pfas-movement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">No PFAS Corporate Movement<\/a>\u201c der schwedischen Nichtregierungsorganisation ChemSec angeschlossen und setzen sich daf\u00fcr ein, PFAS in Produkten, Technologien und Lieferketten zu vermeiden.<\/p>\n<h2>Empfehlungen<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Antonia Reihlen, wissenschaftliche Referentin von CHEM Trust Europe, sagt:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nWir m\u00fcssen den Klimawandel und die PFAS-Belastung gleichzeitig angehen. Gl\u00fccklicherweise sind PFAS-freie Alternativen f\u00fcr gr\u00fcne Technologien entweder bereits verf\u00fcgbar oder werden erforscht. Sobald die geplante EU-Beschr\u00e4nkung von PFAS verabschiedet ist, haben bestimmte Branchen bis zu 13 Jahre Zeit, um Alternativen zu finden. href=\"https:\/\/chemtrust.org\/de\/pfas-freie-wirtschaft-kommentar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PFAS-freie Wirtschaft<\/a> in der EU erreicht werden \u2013 und so die jetzigen und
