Applications open for three new jobs at green charity CHEM Trust

January 25, 2023 By Anna Watson

Applications open for three new jobs at green charity CHEM Trust

CHEM Trust is pleased to announce that we are recruiting three new roles to join our team. These are:

  • Senior EU campaigner
  • Scientific Research Assistant
  • Philanthropy Officer

Our Mission

CHEM Trust’s overarching aim is to prevent human-made chemicals from causing long term damage to wildlife or humans, by ensuring that chemicals which cause such harm are substituted with safer alternatives.

We are a small, dynamic and influential environmental NGO, working mainly at the EU and UK level. We are science-based, working at the science and policy interface. We work closely with other NGOs, scientists and decision-makers in the UK, across Europe and globally.

You would be joining us at an exciting time for the organisation. The EU and UK are both reviewing the ways that they manage chemicals and ensure people and the environment are protected from the most harmful chemicals. Our funders understand that this is a crucial time to bring about change and are supporting us in expanding our team.

We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates, as they are currently under-represented in the UK charity sector.

Do look around our websites, chemtrust.org and chemtrust.org/policy/, to learn more about what we are working on.

  • To apply for the Senior EU campaigner role please see the job description and how to apply here
  • To apply for the Scientific Research Assistant role please see the job description and how to apply here
  • To apply for the Philanthropy Officer role please see the job description and how to apply here

Unfortunately, we only have the capacity to contact shortlisted candidates.
